Since I've healed from my surgery, all I've heard are comments like: "I can't believe how young you look!" "I can't even tell you had work done." "You look amazing." "You don't have that pulled look." "There's not a wrinkle on your face," "You got a good one (referring to the procedure)." This was unsolicited feedback from close friends, family, casual acquaintances, and co-workers. I humbly have to agree with them. Dr. Gowda is so skilled. He takes his time with each case and will not take ANY of the shortcuts other surgeons take. The proof is in the fact that he spends double the time other surgeons do who perform the same procedure. He will use whatever technique will give the more favorable result even if it means it takes him more time to do so. He told me, "I never want my patients to feel like people can tell they had a facelift." He applies that dedication to every case he has.
On a personal note, he is just the kindest, most humble, gentle person one could ever meet. Although he is one of the top plastic surgeons in the USA, he's still very modest and humble. He just wants to provide amazing results which he seems to deliver consistently.
I do NOT regret one bit choosing Dr. Gowda as my surgeon. I believe that he is the best of the best.

If you're considering Dr. Gowda for a rhinoplasty do yourself a favor and get yourself on his books! I have wanted a rhinoplasty for years and when I finally decided to move forward with this process I interviewed/consulted with three doctors. Dr. Gowda was my second interview and I knew right then and there he was the Dr. for me. From his consulting process to his bedside manner to his staff and facilities is all a smooth and lovely experience.
Now on to his actual rhinoplasty process. He does what is known as a preservation or closed rhinoplasty and it leaves minimal scarring, bruising, and swelling. I am now 5 months post surgery and I was able to get back to work after only 10 days and everyone was so shocked at how good I looked so soon after a major surgery.
Truly the right decision. Thank you so much Dr. Gowda and your team. You all are amazing.

Paige did my microneedling treatment and she did a fantastic job!! Couldn’t recommend her enough. So kind and knowledgeable. Thanks Paige!!
As a mother, trusting someone with your child’s first surgery is one of the scariest things you can do. My daughter had never had any surgeries before, so naturally I was extremely nervous and honestly terrified about the entire process. From the moment we met Dr. Gowda, he made both of us feel comfortable and supported.
My daughter’s case was not simple. She had a deviated septum, very thick skin, and several structural issues that made her nose a difficult case. The surgery also required grafting, and other surgeons had even turned her away. Despite all of this, Dr. Gowda took the time to explain everything to us clearly and honestly. His confidence, patience, and kindness gave me the reassurance I needed to trust him with my daughter’s surgery.
What I appreciated the most was how much he listened to my daughter and respected what she wanted. He made sure her nose looked natural and still kept her ethnic features, which was very important to us.
Her recovery also went much smoother than we expected. She had very little bruising, and during the first week she was nervous about cleaning the blood inside her nose. When we told the office, they were incredibly kind and allowed her to come in every day so they could help clean it for her. That level of care meant so much to us as a family.
Dr. Gowda’s staff are some of the kindest and most supportive people we have ever met. They treated my daughter with so much patience and compassion throughout the entire process.
As a mother who was very scared at first, I can truly say I am so grateful we trusted Dr. Gowda. He is not only an extremely skilled surgeon, but also a caring and supportive doctor who truly puts his patients first.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Gowda and his entire team. My case was not an easy one at all. I had a deviated septum, very thick skin, and multiple structural issues with my nose. My surgery also required grafting, so it was definitely a complex rhinoplasty. Before finding Dr. Gowda, I consulted with other surgeons who basically turned me away or made me feel like my nose was too difficult to work on.
From the very first consultation, Dr. Gowda made me feel comfortable and respected. He truly listened to what I wanted and took my concerns seriously. One of the most important things to me was keeping my ethnic features, and he completely understood that. He refined my nose while still keeping it natural and balanced with my face. I never wanted a nose that looked fake or didn’t fit me, and he respected that.
Even though my nose was a challenging case, Dr. Gowda was confident and honest about the process. I’m so grateful he was willing to take on my surgery when other doctors wouldn’t.
Another thing that really surprised me was how smooth my recovery was. I had very little bruising, which I honestly didn’t expect with such a complex surgery. During the first week after surgery, I was a little scared to clean the blood inside my nose myself. When I told the office, they were incredibly kind and told me I could come in every day if I needed to so they could help clean it for me. That level of care meant so much to me.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Gowda. From the very first consultation through my breast reconstruction and follow-up visits, I felt genuinely cared for, listened to, and supported. This was a vulnerable, emotional process for me, and Dr. Gowda approached everything with compassion, patience, and total professionalism. It was a hard procedure for him as it was the result of a botched surgery in Miami. But he fixed everything way beyond my hopes. I think he is phenomenal.
The results exceeded my expectations—not just aesthetically, but in how confident and comfortable I feel in my own body again. The doctor took time to explain every step, answered all my questions without rushing, and made sure I felt safe and informed throughout the process. The office staff was also kind, responsive, and respectful, which made the entire experience smoother.
If you’re considering breast reconstruction or any other procedure and want a surgeon who combines incredible skill with real empathy one that takes the extra time to strive for perfection… , I truly couldn’t recommend Dr.
Gowda more highly.

Dr Gowda did a great job with my nose. I can breathe much better and it looks great. He kept it very natural while changing it to how I wanted as well. Would highly recommend him!
I am 2 weeks into recovery from a reconstruction/repair rhinoplasty after living with a tough condition for 20+ years. My condition was caused from complications of a previous rhinoplasty as well as a break a few years after the initial surgery. The operation required some out of the box thinking, and he (and his staff) delivered on that thru the process. I am pleased with the results.
His deep knowledge from experience as well as applying wisdom to ambiguity were offers that set him apart.

Dr Gowda and his staff are the best, I had a deep plane face lift and through out the whole process they made me and my husband feel very comfortable. Dr Gowda always reminded me to trust the process, and I did and my results are amazing. Dr Gowda takes his time, which are represented in the results. Would recommend Dr Gowda and his team in a heartbeat!
Dr. Gowda is the best!! He is a perfectionist and he is honest about what he feels is achievable. His staff is super helpful and friendly.
I am super happy with the results I experienced and would recommend him to anyone. He has been practicing as a plastic surgeon for a very long time!

I am in week 7 of a necklift which included having my submandibular glands shaved down. Dr. Gowda and his team have been fabulous! I appreciate the directness of Dr. Gowda during my consultation and his masterful surgery skills (I also just think he is a nice person). He is a perfectionist and absolutely wants your end results to be better than you even envsioned. He will take his time during surgery to acheive the best possible results. My recovery was pain free from the day of surgery on (which is crazy to me). I am very happy with my results and I am thankful that I choose Dr. Gowda and his team!
Dr Gowda and his team are the best! From consultation to follow up, they make sure you have all the necessary information. Dr Gowda is very skilled snd holds himself to a very high standard. My husband said the work I had done shaved 20 years off my face. Yet the results are not noticeably the result of plastic surgery—I look better but natural. I highly recommend Dr. Gowda.
Wow! Very pleased with results … Dr. Gowda did an amazing job and his team was amazing as well. Dr.Gowda Very knowledgeable, caring and you can tell he loves what he does. Highly recommend him for anyone interested in deep plane facelift…
Very excellent surgeon. Made my nose look the way it was suppose to look. Great staff, Sylvia is amazing. I recommend anyone looking for a talented plastic surgeon to use Dr Gowda!
Dr. Mune Gowda is outstanding. After researching surgeons across metro Detroit — even considering options in Florida and California — I chose Dr. Gowda for a revision rhinoplasty and couldn’t be happier. From the first consult he carefully asked about my breathing, evaluated my nasal structure, and set realistic expectations. He genuinely cares about his patients and their outcomes, and I trusted his expert judgment.
My case was complicated because a prior septoplasty had left significant problems. Although my surgery was estimated at 6½–7 hours, Dr. Gowda spent eight hours meticulously correcting everything. The result is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Mune Gowda to anyone seeking a skilled, compassionate revision rhinoplasty surgeon.

You have one opportunity to undergo a fantastic face lift. Choose your surgeon wisely. Dr. Gowda is the premier cosmetic surgeon in the State of Michigan and one of the best in the country. I’m a 58-year-old man who 6 months ago underwent; Deep Plane Facelift, Endoscopic Brow Lift, Deep Contouring of the Neck, Reduction of the Medial and Lateral Platysmaplasty, Fat Grafting of the Bilateral Brow, Nasal Labial Folds, Upper Lip, and CO2 Laser treatment under my eyes. My results are fantastic and continue improving every month.
Successful Cosmetic Surgery is a blend of artistic and surgical technique. To that end, Dr. Gowda’s practice is not motivated by financial gain. He is driven by his passion to perform cosmetic surgical procedures to exceptional and exacting standards, so his patients experience outstanding outcomes. Dr. Gowda’s surgical philosophy is to make you a natural, younger looking, and refreshed version of yourself.
The following examples of my experiences with Dr. Gowda exemplify his high standards of surgical practice; 1. Dr. Gowda limits himself to performing one facelift a day. He’s not going to cut corners or rush in order to begin another scheduled procedure. He is fully focused on you for that day. 2. My procedure lasted 12 hours. Dr. Gowda has the physical and mental stamina to successfully complete your procedure. 3. Dr. Gowda is a perfectionist. I had a small indentation on the bridge of my nose I assumed was from a sports related fracture. I had considered rhinoplasty to correct this flaw. In the OR, Dr. Gowda determined this was not a fracture. I had lost some fat which he corrected with grafting. During one my preoperative visits, Dr. Gowda recommended adding some fat to my upper lip. I recoiled thinking about over-plumped filler lips. He assured me he was only going to use 1 millimeter of fat to slightly lift my upper lip. This illustrates Dr. Gowda’s attention to detail. Driven by perfection, minutes before my surgery in the pre-op, Dr. Gowda was taking pictures of my face with his phone and expanding the photos scouring details. He then suggested making a couple passes with the CO2 laser under my eyes. These 3 minor procedures could have easily been overlooked by another surgeon. I can tell you each had a profound effect on the success of my surgery.
I am extremely pleased with the results from my procedures. My family, friends, and treating physicians are overwhelmed at my extraordinary results. I often hear “it doesn’t even look like you’ve had a facelift, you look 20 years younger.” If you’re considering cosmetic surgery, you owe it to yourself to schedule an evaluation with Dr. Gowda.

The best experience that I went through, I had my tummy tuck done by dr Gowda which I highly recommend
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Gowda and his team! From my first consultation, it was clear that he is incredibly detailed and takes his time to ensure the best results. He truly listens to your concerns and provides expert guidance, making you feel comfortable and confident in your decision.
What sets Dr. Gowda apart is that his care doesn’t end after surgery—he is attentive throughout the entire recovery process, making sure you are healing properly and happy with your results. His nurse, Silvia, is absolutely amazing! She is so kind, patient, and helpful every step of the way, always available to answer questions and provide reassurance.

Dr. DeSano took my desperate case and gave me hope. After being told by several other doctors that there was nothing they could do, he and Katie put a plan together and not only executed that plan, they knocked it out of the park. I am so happy with the results and have ZERO regrets. If you are considering something, go see them. You will NOT be disappointed!
Dr Gowda did a wonderful job. The work he did was very natural. I would recommend him without hesitation. Very kind and caring!
Dr. Gowda is beyond impressive. The amount of care and time he will take to get the best result is remarkable. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff for any procedure you might be considering.
I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Gowda and his team. I had a slightly more difficult case with my nose and I am so grateful Dr. Gowda took me on as a patient and was able to perform surgery on me.
The results are nothing short of amazing and I am so happy with it. He fixed my nose without changing my whole face and still making it look natural.
He has a very soothing demeanor to him and I have heard he’s a perfectionist :)
I am extremely grateful for Dr. Gowda and highly recommend him!!
Here are some “after” pics. I couldn’t find any before (of the profile) I think I burned them all ;)
